The Drago We__ite: No BS Allowed

Drago Endorses: Immigrants who put pretentious Americans in their place

We have a few friends who have managed to fight their way out of Venezuela or Russia or some other equally hopeless place and reinvent themselves as hip, upper-middle-class contributing-members-of-society. Needless to say, they are proud of their current success over their humble beginnings and nothing annoys them more than some lazy asshole white American who has squandered more opportunities than they have ever had access to. Sometimes, when they are drunk, they like to tell the lazy asshole just how lazy and asshole-ish they are. It usually goes something like this:

…yeah, I know what you mean. It’s like, when I was studying psychology in college…

Wait, I thought you got your degree in art.

Well, yeah. But I took some psychology classes, too. I took…

How much is some?

Like 6 credits.

What is that? Like two classes? And that qualifies as “studying something in college?” You took two classes, so you “studied” it?

Well, not just in college. I still read about it now, I have some books here that I could show you…

So fucking what? I have The DaVinci Code at my apartment, does that make me an expert on religion and 18th century art or whatever?

The conversation usually continues like that until the first person cries and the second person is not welcome at the next party.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article , but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
