The Drago We__ite: No BS Allowed

Drago Endorses: Steve Jobs’ “Thoughts on Music”

If you haven’t seen it yet, Uncle Steve posted an open letter on the Apple website Tuesday. It addresses the current state of digital rights management and digital music in general. The letter explains how Apple licenses its music from the big record companies and why you can’t play iTunes on a Zune. It is an interesting read and it outlines what Apple would (allegedly) like to do for the consumers, if only the big music companies would let them.

There’s a boatload of professional analysis of this letter on the various Mac fansites, so we’ll just say this about it: In typical Apple fashion, they took something extremely complicated, explained it so anyone could understand it, and made themselves look smart and classy in the process.
