Our buddies over there at College Life Magazine just put up their new website. It looks very professional and is almost entirely Flash-based. You should go there and check out their interesting articles, crazy college stories, and pictures of hot multi-ethnic girls not smiling.

Drago Endorses: LOVE LESS

love less

On The Hundreds today, they have picture of a girl who has LOVE LESS on her two wrists because her last name is Loveless. Then they say that a dude has HATE MORE on his wrists. We don’t know if that’s a joke, but it makes us want to marry a girl whose last name is Loveless so we can get HATE MORE tattoos.

Drago Endorses: Staying away from the drugs in Mexico

Posted by Drago in Multi-Culturalism, Travel

drugs

There’s about twenty of these signs in every club and bar bathroom in Cancun. Seems like they mean business. You could probably bribe them if you got caught, but who wants to deal with that inconvenience?

Drago Endorses: Chichen Itza

Posted by Drago in Multi-Culturalism, Art, Travel

itza

No, not chicken pizza (although we do also like chicken pizza). Chichen Itza is a town of Mayan Ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula. They have a big pyramid, an observatory, a Mayan death-ball court, a bunch of smaller religious structures, a huge sinkhole that they used to sacrifice virgins into, and about ten thousand little Mayan guys running around trying to sell you crap.

Posted by Drago in Multi-Culturalism, Music, Internet

We’ve long been fans of Vice’s Dos and Don’ts, but now they’ve done something new. On their VBS.tv website, they’s got famous Dos and Don’ts being discussed by famous weirdos. Our favs are David Cross and Jay McCarroll from Project Runway.

Drago Endorses: Barak Obama’s internet networking

obama

Barak Obama is one of the younger men to ever run for president and has been using this fact to try to connect to our generation. Even though at 45 he could easily be our dad, he looks younger than he is and he needs to play that up as much as possible.

In order to appeal to the internet generation, Obama is using many of the tools that the internet has to offer. He has a Facebook account, a Flickr account, YouTube, and even his own version of MySpace where you can talk about how great he is.

We’ve added him as a friend on Facebook, but it begs an interesting question. Do we really want the next president to know that we are attending “Jeff’s B-Day Shitshow?”

Drago Endorses: Why We Fight

Posted by Drago in Old News, Movies, Multi-Culturalism, DC

Why We Fight is a documentary about September 11th and the war that followed. Yeah, I know we are all tired of this whole situation and we’ve all heard that “We’ll be greated as liberators” sound bite and scoffed at it dozens of times, but this movie is different from a lot of the rest of the stuff out there.

Why We Why fight goes deep into the origin of Saddam’s power (hint: we gave it to him), it speaks on the integral part that business contractors play in wars and how they got to that point, it analyzes the part that the media and marketing play in convincing a populace that they need to go to war.

Drago Endorses: Gym Class Heroes

gch

Gym Class Heroes is our favorite band. You won’t hear us say that about anybody else. Their lyrics resonate with our souls, their music makes us want to dance and their swagger makes us want to copy them.

Drago Endorses: Immigrants who put pretentious Americans in their place

Posted by Drago in Drinking, Multi-Culturalism, Art

We have a few friends who have managed to fight their way out of Venezuela or Russia or some other equally hopeless place and reinvent themselves as hip, upper-middle-class contributing-members-of-society. Needless to say, they are proud of their current success over their humble beginnings and nothing annoys them more than some lazy asshole white American who has squandered more opportunities than they have ever had access to. Sometimes, when they are drunk, they like to tell the lazy asshole just how lazy and asshole-ish they are. It usually goes something like this:
