Drago Endorses: Rock-a-fire Remix of Pop, Lock, Drop It
This is basically the best thing I’ve ever seen. It’s the singing robots from Chuck-E-Cheese singing the Remix to Huey’s “Pop, Lock, and Drop It.” It’s so necessary.

So here’s the deal. Kanye made an alternate video for “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and it’s about Zach Galifianakis being a farmer. It’s a lot better than the original one.
In an era where MMA fighters are getting their titles taken away for failing drugs tests, this guy is making a dvd about smoking weed. That takes some balls and you’ve got to respect it.

So, you’ve probably seen this guy’s writing in ads in Vice Magazine, nebulously attached to an unknown product, and said WTF to yourself. What’s going on are they are pages from a book written by one of the rappers from the group Plastic Little. You can see more pages from the book on here.
We saw that Gym Class Heroes and Dashboard Confessional show tonight, shit was bananas. We’ve been fans of Gym Class for a long time, but this is the first time we’ve seen them since they’ve blown up big. It’s crazy to watch a band go from playing for a couple hundred people to couple thousand people in just a few years.

When New Friend Request was played we kept telling girls that we were at the shoot for the video, but they were unimpressed or didn’t believe us.

After GCH played, we walked around a lot to see who we could say what’s up to. We never found Travis (he was probably too busy eff-ing any girl he wanted to there), but we did say hey to some other celebs.
Oh Snap. We love R. Kelly a lot. Everything about him and his music. He’s finishing Trapped in the Closet in July. We can’t wait. We need a time machine.
Off the no bull, We saw this first on Married to the MOB, but it’s very interesting so we want to pass it on. Ian Reid is a skateboarder who was friends with Fabolous when they were growing up and has just put out a video called Sex, Hood, Skate and Videotape. We’ll probably cop it.

This new Chris Rock movie is pretty good. It has a positive, pro-black, pro-family message without being lame. It still has a lot of Chris Rock’s signature “I hate white people, but I hate stupid black people even more” even though Chris is mellowing some with age. It has a lot of New York vs. everywhere else humor. It has a lot of social class based humor.
But most importantly, it reinforced two of our deep-seated preconceived notions: (more…)

Brake Fast Records is one of our favorite up and coming Baltimore hip hop crews. They always put on a good stage show and they have been getting to open for some great national rap acts in the Baltimore clubs. The only criticism that we have about them is, while they all obviously like and respect each other, they should not all be on the same stage at the same time. They each have their own energy and direction, and when they perform together there is a visible tension between them. Fortunately, they have been getting enough attention together that they have started performing separately.
We aren’t huge fans of Jordans and we are sure that all of their R&D for the last few years has been dedicated to making the 23s sicker, but the commercial for the 22s is amazing. It will seriously give you goosebumps.
