Drago Endorses: Ian Reid

Posted by Drago in Movies, Hip Hop, Multi-Culturalism, TV, Travel

Off the no bull, We saw this first on Married to the MOB, but it’s very interesting so we want to pass it on. Ian Reid is a skateboarder who was friends with Fabolous when they were growing up and has just put out a video called Sex, Hood, Skate and Videotape. We’ll probably cop it.

Drago Endorses: Killing the Really Frugal Gourmet

Posted by Drago in TV, Internet

If you kill the interviewer guy from this video, we’ll make a t-shirt about you and give you the profits. He’s so annoying! I guess he’s kind of funny too, but we still hate him.

Drago Endorses: The final episode of The OC

Posted by Drago in Sexy Time, TV, Art, Hollywood

We are still feeling numb about this. It hasn’t sunk in yet, really. The OC used to be the way that we knew the weekend was finally here. It was a common ground to relate to other people. It was what we watched while we got dressed and pregamed before going out on Thursday nights. It was how we knew what indie bands had finally sold out. It’s really the end of an era. Don’t say anything about how we can watch Gray’s Anatomy now, because that show totally sucks.

Drago Endorses: Jack Bauer Races to Prevent a Party Foul

Posted by Drago in TV, Internet

This College Humor Post by Patrick Cassels is so damn funny. Especially the choice of songs at the end that he has to dance to. That’s the song that we always have to dance to as well.

I need you to listen to me very closely. There’s isn’t much time. My name isn’t important, but I’m a federal agent, and I was invited here by Kevin’s roommate. You can check with him for clearance later—he’s in the kitchen—but for now you’re just going to have to trust me.

Drago Endorses: Andy from The Office’s weekend plan

Posted by Drago in Philadelphia, Drinking, TV

Andy: You, me, bar, beers, buzzed. Wings, shots, drunk. Waitresses, hot. Football, Cornell/Hofstra, slaughter. Then quick nap at my place, and we hit the tiz-own.
Michael: No, I don’t want to do any of that.
Andy: Duh, which is why I was joking about doing it.

I don’t know if it transfers to paper well, but Andy’s monologue on last week’s episode of The Office was so funny, in an unbearable adult-frat boy kind of way. Andy is great new addition to The Office and he has kind of helped to humanize Michael a bit.

Also, we’ve all taken a nap at our friends’ place between drinking while watching a football and drinking at the club later, but planning it ahead of time is so pesimistic and also kind of homoerotic. You should plan to meet some babes at the football bar and sweep them away to the dance club after the game is over, not plan on going home to regroup and try again later. Come on.

Drago Endorses: Kal Penn

Posted by Drago in Multi-Culturalism, TV
Kal Penn

While he may always be type-cast as “The Indian/Arab/Persian Guy,” Kal has tremendous range as an actor. From his bumbling virgin in Van Wilder to the vulgar stoner and reluctant genius in Harold and Kumar to the jihad-thirsty terrorist wannabe in the current season of 24, he is believable and natural in every role we have seen him in. Too bad he died in the first two hours.
